Focusing on wisdom and vision
Katherine Barton is a mom, choral singer and contra dancer who loves hiking and canoeing on Minnesota’s rivers and lakes. She is an enthusiastic volunteer for protecting precious lands and waters as well as supporting a vibrant democracy. A lifelong spiritual learner, she has studied indigenous faith traditions as well as Buddhism and Sufism. Having lived in or visited more than 25 countries, she continues to travel at every opportunity. Her home is St. Paul, Minnesota.
Raised in a family of strong faith, Katherine’s life work has centered on helping individuals, communities, businesses and government entities move forward with unity, integrity and authenticity. Her leadership skills focus on helping participants grow by looking deeply and humorously into what life is offering. As a spiritual guide, she has designed courses on vital aging, visualization, empowering one's ancestral allies and "The Magic of True Intention." A former faculty member of Saint Catherine University, Katherine has a B.A. in psychology from Macalester College and a Master’s in creative writing from Hamline University.
